What will become of my pets after the rapture?

OK - if you know me you'll know my view about the rapture (i.e., the idea of a rapture in unbiblical - end of story). However, certain Christians are big on the rapture and one current fashion is for a pre-tribulation rapture (a relatively new view on the Christian scene). You know, the kind of thing found in the Left Behind novels. Here is a funny site that deals with the worry, "What will happen to my pets after I am raptured?" It is called Eternal Earthbound Pets.

It's definitely the case that any pre-tribulation/secret rapture is unbiblical. However, while the rapture won't be like what the dispensationalists have it as, you can't really say that the idea of being raptured to the Lord in the air is unbiblical:
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up (in archaic translations, raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." 1 Thess 4:16-17

It's at-second coming, so there's not that much point in bothering with pet care (we'd be down shortly, with Jesus), especially from atheists (they'd be too busy being annoyed/surprised/scared)...

The FAQ's are a must read such as,

"Q: How do you ensure your representatives won't be Raptured.
A: Actually, we don't ensure it, they do. Each of our representatives has stated to us in writing that they are atheists, do not believe in God / Jesus, and that they have blasphemed in accordance with Mark 3:29, negating any chance of salvation."

I cannot express my level of comfort knowing that all of the business partners/associates went out of their way to blaspheme in accordance with Mark 3:29.:)LOL

Ahh! the old 'won't the atheists be sorry' tack - I reckon we'll all just be really fascinated by this new observable phenomenon :-)
